About the Chronic Addiction Center
Since 2009, the Chronic Addiction Center has helped adults and teens in Traverse City and throughout Northern Michigan take meaningful steps toward healthier, more stable lives. We understand that addiction, trauma, grief, and other personal challenges can leave people feeling isolated or uncertain about where to turn. Our goal is to provide a welcoming place where every person is treated with compassion, dignity, and respect.
Outpatient Support Built Around Your Life
We provide strictly outpatient care, allowing patients to receive support while continuing to manage work, school, family, and everyday responsibilities. Services include medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders, along with counseling for addiction, grief, divorce, trauma, human trafficking, and PTSD among veterans. Depending on the service and patient’s circumstances, appointments may be available in person, virtually, or in the home.
Our team brings a pastoral background to its work while respecting each patient’s individual beliefs, experiences, and needs. We also work with the Department of Corrections and provide drug-testing services for individuals, families, and local employers.
A More Accessible Path Forward
Seeking help should not feel more difficult than the challenges you are already facing. Walk-ins are welcome, and same-day appointments may be available. Financing options are also offered, along with resources such as
